Wireless environmental sensor network installed in an urban area

How it all started:

Delivering better dust and odour monitoring solutions.

"Back in 2018, we were working on a remodelling project at Liverpool Lime Street. One of the challenges we faced was the particulate matter generated from ballast drops, particularly silica dust.

Our team was brought in to tackle this issue, and during the project, we were asked if we could provide dust monitoring. Without fully understanding the market, we outsourced the task to an environmental abatement company. At the time, their prices seemed high, but we passed the cost on.

Looking back, it wasn’t just expensive - it was ineffective. The monitoring methods were outdated, and the results were far from timely. I still remember sitting in the mess room with the project manager for S&C North Alliance, over coffee he expressed frustration at the process: results took too long, the monitoring methods were poor, and for the cost, it was barely worth it. But it was necessary.

Over the years, as I’ve gained a deeper understanding of the industry, one thing has become clear: safeguarding the health and wellbeing of workers is critical. To reduce the risk of occupational diseases, companies need effective and affordable solutions that deliver real-time results.

That’s why we’ve partnered with leading experts to offer dust and odour monitoring solutions designed for both short- and long-term projects. Starting from just £198.00 per month, our services provide reliable Dust and Noise monitoring to help you prioritise worker safety without breaking the budget.

Let’s make air quality monitoring simple, efficient, and cost-effective for every project."
